Departure: Departs from April untill the end of October every Monday, Wednesday and Thursday. From November to March departs every Wednesday.
Route: Athens – Delphi – Kalambaka – Athens
Day 1 : Athens / Delphi /Kalambaka(Meteora)
Todays schedule will begin with a departure from Athens and drive to Delphi and on our way we will passi through Thebes, Levadia and the small pretty village of Arachova – which is situated on the slopes of Pernassos mountain, we will also pass by Castalia Springs as we arrive into Delphi. Whilst in Delphi we will explore the archeological finds here such as – Temple Of Apollo, The theatre, and also many other Delphi treasures. After we have uncovered the secrets that lie within Delphi we will then depart for the area known as Kalambaka (Meteora) on the way we will pass through small villages of Central Greece. As the day ends our transfer will then take you back to your hotel for a delicious dinner and its here that you will have your overnight stay.
Day 2 : Kalambaka (Meteora)/ Athens
Our plan today is to head to visit The Monasteries of Meteora – they are actually included into the list of the World Heritage of UNESCO. Meteora has become famous for the unique scultpured Monastries that sit at the top of a high steep rocks. After visiting Meteora we will then return to back Athens via Trikala, Lamia, Thermopylae, on our return route we will take a short stop for have a look at – Leonidas Monument – He was a spartan warrior and died an heroic death during the battle of Thermopylae.
*Visit Delphi Museum is not included.
*For visiting the Monastery, ladies need to wear a long skirt and gentlements must wear long trousers.
