Route: Athens (Pireaus)- Istanbul- Izmir (Ephesus) – Patmos – Mykonos – Rhodes – Crete – Santorini – Athens (Pireaus)


Day 1 : Athens & Cruise Embarkation (dinner)
The cruise ship departs at 16:00pm for Istanbul.

Day 2 : Istanbul (breakfast-lunch-dinner)
15:30 arrival into Istanbul, this city is known to be the largest city of Turkey, and you have the perfect chance to explore all of its miracles that lie within. The most common and must see places are – St. Hagia Sophia. Hagia Sophia is one of the greatest surviving examples of Byzantine architecture and is of great artistic value with its decorated interior been made up with mosaics and marble pillars. The actual temple itself was so richly and artistically decorated that Justinian proclaimed “Solomon, I have outdone thee “ Justinian himself had overseen the completion of the greatest cathedral ever built up to that time, and it was to remain the largest cathedral for 1,000 years more up until the completion of the cathedral in Seville in Spain. Just across from St. Sophia is the Blue Mosque, which is most recognizable from its six minarets, the mosque was built between 1609 and 1616 for Sultan Ahmet I had decorated the inside with 21,043 tiles from Iznik in a dominant blue colour and because of its magnificent interior decoration of blue Iznik tiles is how the mosque came to be called ‘ Blue Mosque’. After we will head on to see the Ancient Hippodrome, here was scene of the all chariot racesthat took place, and also houses the three famously known monuments; the Obelisk of Theodosius, the bronze Serpentine Column and the Column of Constantine. Our journey will continue on to Topkapi Palace, this great palace was home of the Ottoman sultans from the 15th – 19th centuries and is host to an exquisite collection of cyrstal,silver, and Chinese porcelain, also the robes to which were worn by the sultans and their families, the famous jewels of the Imperial Treasury, and the Holy Mantle; with enshrining relics of the Prophet Mohammed. To conclude your first day of touring we will take a short drive to the exotic Grand Bazaar, it is one of oldest/largest covered markets in the world with having upto 61 covered streets and more than 3,000 shops for you to delve into.

Day 3 : Istanbul (breakfast-lunch-dinner)
You may take one of our optional tours in Istanbul. At 17:00pm, depart for Izmir.

Day 4 : Izmir (breakfast-lunch-dinner)
The ship will reach Izmir between 13:30-20:30 (depending on given time schedule). There will be the opportunity for you join a tour around Pergamon or the Ancient City Of Ephesus.

DAY 5 : Patmos / Mykonos (breakfast-lunch-dinner)

You will arrive into Patmos in the morning at 06:30am, Patmos is a symbol of faith and communication with God. You may also visit The Monastery of St.John and Cave of Apocalypse if you like. We will stay in Patmos till around 10:00am and then its time to depart for Mykonos.

Once we reach Mykonos (between 15:30pm – 23:00pm) we will head off to visit the island in more detail. Did you know that the windmills are trademark of the island so dont forget to have a look around them and snap some photos.

Day 6 : Rhodes (breakfast-lunch-dinner)

We will stay in Rhodes from 09:30am to 19:00pm. Where you will have the day at your lesiure, you may want to take a visit to Lindos which is world famous for its Acropolis,Kamiros, Filerimos or butterflies valley. 

Day 7 : Crete / Santorini (breakfast-lunch-dinner)
From 06:30am to 11:30am we will be visitng in Crete, As im sure your aware that there are alot of things in Crete to be explored as well as taking a visit to one of its many charming beaches. The places that we recommend you explore whilst here is Crete is of course to take a wander around The Ancient City Of Aptera – It has to be one of the most impressive as its location is high on a level plateau with a breath taking panoramic view, and from  all directions there is rare beauty to meet the eye such as the Cretan sea, the valley of Apokoronou which is exceptionally beautiful, the Akrotiri, the high White Mountains and Malaxa are all to be seen. There is also an Archaeological Museum here in Crete which is also fascinating to see where you can uncover Cretes historical findings.

After your time around Crete we will depart and head on for your next destination. We will arrive at 16:00pm to Santorini. And it here in Santorini that you are able to admire Caldera – It is without a doubt one of the Natural Wonders in the world, and the volcanic eruption that occured over 3500 years drastically changed forever the topograpghy of the Mediterranean coast. Also here in Santorini you will be able to find many different types of beach to spend your day and even in a range of different coloured sands such as Red, Gold and also Black and we can asure you that these kind of beaches can be found nowhere else in the world. Or why not take a dip into the healing hot water springs…?

We will depart from Santorini at around 20:30 make our way back over to Athens.

Day 8 : Athens (breakfast)
The cruise will reach back to Piraeus port at around 06:00am, where you will be able to disembark after breakfast. So sadly your time with us has now come to an end and we trust that your time with us discovering and exploring some of the hidden treasures that lie within the Greek Islands, and we trust that your journey with us through time has been everything that you wanted and more, we would also like to wish you a pleasant journey home and shall look forward to seeing you again on one of our many other time travelling packages.
