Itinerary

Day 1 – Bodrum Arrivals

As  you make your arrival into Bodrum airport you will be transferred from the airport and into the resort of Bodrum, where you will be able to check into your hotel. Tonight you will have the invitation to enjoy a delicious welcome dinner, and be astounded by the buzzing atmosphere of Bodrum during the evening. (Overnight in Bodrum – Dinner Included).

Day 2 – Bodrum

Now you have had a good rest we can start you on your journey through turkey. Firstly you will have breakfast at the hotel and afterwards we will depart from the hotel and make our way to see Bodrum Castle, Bodrum Castle is also known as St Peters Castle. Your Bodrum guide will escort you around the site and explain to you the history  that lies within the castle walls, also Bodrum Castle there will be time for you to also visit the five towers where you can see various different items in each tower. The panoramic view from Bodrum Castle is magnificent you can see all over Bodrum – so dont forget to bring your camera! whilst at the castle you will make a visit to the Glass Wreck Hall. The tour will continue onwards by going to see the splendid Bodrum Underwater Archeology Museum where you will fınd numerous interesting items recovered by Turkish and American Archaeologists.

*On the full day you will would now be taken to a Turkish Resturant for your lunch, and after you there will be a short drive to visit the Old Stone Windmills which are very picturesque and have beautiful views. After you have spent some time there your Bodrum guide will then take you a short distance to the Mausoleum of Halicarnassus, one of the seven wonders of the ancient world, The 50 m high mausoleum is covered with a ptythonic pyramidal roof supported by 36 Ionic columns and then onto the ruins of the Myndus Gate where it is possible to trace some of the city’s ancient walls and explore the ruins. Afterwards its a drive to Bodrum theater. (Overnight in Bodrum. Breakfast Included).

Day 3 – Bodrum Bays Boat Tour

After breakfast you will join the Bodrum bays Boat Tour where you can enjoy a relaxing day at sea exploring the turquoise seas of the Bodrum coastline. The cruise starts at around 11.00 am and during the day you will visit several of the most beautiful bays in the area where you can swim, snorkel in crystal-clear water or just simply relax in the mild breeze aand at the sametime breathe in the stunning views whilst getting that perfect suntan. Lunch is included and is served on board the boat in the afternoon,you will head to Black Island which is situated around half an hour from Bodrum and its here you can bath in the grotto where the warm mineral waters flow out of the rocks and are believed to beautify your complexion. (Overnight in Bodrum. Breakfast and Lunch Included)

Day 4 -Transfer to Marmaris

Please make sure you check out from hotel after breakfast and have all your belongings including your suitcases with you. Today you have a free day in Bodrum so you can take time to wander around the resort, head down to the bazaar area where you can shop and shop til you drop, try some traditional authenic cuisine that is simply mouth wtaering. Overnight in Marmaris. Breakfast Included

Day 5 – Free day in Marmaris (Optional Dalyan Boat Tour)

Free day in Marmaris or  Optional Dalyan Tour : After breakfast your dalyan boat tour will begin. Dalyan is a small town thats located in the South west and is the perfect place to see the caretta turtles especially on the Iztuzu Beach. Its here ın Dalyan that you can see the ancient city of Caunos – The legendd has it that this city was built by the grandson of Apollo and was a waterfrong city which was great for the trading business but now over time the sea started to setback which ruined trading so the city was abandoned under water. This city has been excavated very well and you are able to see pretty much all of the city – the Acropolis (the castle and the city walls), the city walls, theaters, churches, roman baths, tank, fountain, agora, stoa and urban roads, temples and sacred sites, port and cemetery. Lycian Rock Tombs. The Lycian tombs are actually inside the cliff face just above the Dalyan river and without a doubt can be seen for miles, and really are a fine display Lycian architecture. The rock tombs were burial chambers for kings and queens of that era. After you have had lunch we will then stop by the Dalyan Mud Baths which is a very popular activity among tourists that come to visit Dalyan. The mud supposedly contains minerals such as calcium and magnesium which are beneficial for the skin and overall health. Koycegiz lake has evolved into an ecologically important area, together with its banks and the Dalyan basin it comprises the Köyceğiz-Dalyan Special Environmental Protection Area. Koycegiz Lake and Dalyan Canal created fertile territory for a large number of birds such as the host plant species is important, this lake perfect for bird watchers. Overnight in Marmaris. Day 6 – Free day in Marmaris  (Optional City Tour)

Free day in Marmaris or  Optional local Tour : Marmaris has view of the harbour and mountains, the mountains are full of pine trees. The place that the Marmaris Castle and Marina can be found is classed as the Old City, all of the historical buildings in this area come from the Ottoman period. The historical Old City has been built up around its fort and is replete with buildings from the 16th century onwards. Marmaris Castle will be the first place we will visit, it is believed to date right back to the Ionians in 3,000 B.C. It was besieged, then repaired by Alexander the Great,but was restored again by Süleyman the Magnificent in 1522. There is also a museum inside the castle. It is understood that the inscription Hafza Sultan Caravanserai was made in 1.545 the caravanserai is used today as a souvenir-gift shops, cafe and bars. Marmaris Old Bazaar has also been restored according to its original structure but the bazaar still continues today and is a very popular shopping center for tourists, its here that you can buy souvenirs, handcrafts and all kinds of turkish products such as leather, silver, jewellery and textiles along with tea, spices and turkish coffee. Now you have taken in the sights and sounds of Marmaris your guide will give you approx one hour free time so you can stroll at your leisure along the seafront or take the time to relax have some refreshments in the cafe. After lunchtime we will go in to the Rocks of Goodness Archaeological Park (Iyilik Kayaliklari) In this interesting archaeological park has primarily features ruins going back to the 4th century BC. And then its a drive to Tashan and Arched Bridge, the bridge is 10km along the Mugla road in the Iskelebasi region and was constructed by Suleyman the Magnificent it also has Arched Bridges that were built from stone and brick. We will continue on our way to see Icmeler. Icmeler is the the most popular holiday destination in Marmaris because of its nature and the sea, here you can enjoy a beautiful resort and what it has to offer without the hustle and bustle of many other tourists. There are many cafes and restaurants along the beachfront and also the shopping stores for Jewellery, leather and clothing stores, you can see often across the roads. Icmeler visitors usually spend all day on the sea and the beach so we have arranged also for you to have some free time there so you can have a dip in the sea and a nap on the soft sand. After your visit to Icmeler it brings todays tour to an end and we will then drive back to Marmaris where you will have an overnight stay. (Breakfast Included).

Day 7 – Dalaman

Today is your final day of your adventure with us, so after you have had your breakfast you will need to make sure that you have all your belongings packed as you check out of the hotel in Marmaris as a transfer service will come to take you to the airport (in accordance to your flight details)
