Your Antalya Tour guide will escort you around the site and explain to you all of its history about the museum, you will also visit the Gallery of the Gods as its here the displayed statues that were discovered in Perge dating from the 2C AD can be found. We will also make a visit to Room 2 in the Antalya museum as within this room is the prehistory of all Antalya region (sealed room) which includes - Artifacts from Palaeolithic, Neolithic, chalolithic and Early Bronz Age. Afterwards we will then drive to the Antalya City center and besure that we will not miss the Tophane Cay Bahcesi (Tea Garden) along the way, its located on top of the rampart walls that overlook the harbour. Then its on for a to the Republic Square and the old city entrance where you will see the red-tinted Fluted Minaret (Yivli Minare), that date all the way from the 13’th century and virtually are the symbol of Antalya city, on your right side you will see the Clock Tower in front which is a fascinating. After we will then go to visit the Old Town of Antalya where we will be able to explore the Tekeli Mehmet Pasa Mosque. Just A short distance along and to the right is Hadrian’s Gate that was built to commemorate the Emperors toAntalya in AD 130 its construction is made from marble and it has three arches that all have coffered ceilings that have been decorated with rosettes. Behind Hadrian’s Gate is the Old Town – A maze of small narrow winding streets which makes up the old quarter, here you can see the overhanging the wooden balconies of old dilapidated houses lean companionable towards each other like in ancient gossips exchanging the latest scandal, sometimes through a gap in a crumbling wall you can glimpse an overgrown garden where a few neglected orange trees produced shrivelled, bitter fruits. As we are walking around in the old town of Antalya you will see Kesik Minaret Mosque (broken Minaret) and the ruined Mosque beside  it was transformed from Byzantine Church by Seljuks. At the far end of the city is Hidirlik Tower which is situated on the sea front with magnificent views of all over the city, the gulf of Antalya, and also the rugged Taurus Mountains. After you have soaked in the sights of around Antalya you will then be given some free time (approx 1 hour) so you can stroll at your leisure or relax have some refreshments in the cafeteria. When we all meet back up we will then drive to have our lunch as afterwards we will be visiting the Waterfalls – Antalya is known for its spectacular waterfalls. As the day starts to close in we will make our last stop to visit the Seljuk bridge that goes over Koprucay (Eurymedon) and dates from the 13’th century AD, this bridge is still used to this day, and it was this bridge that replaced a 2C Roman bridge, whose ruins may be seen in the river-bed  a few metres to the North. A tentative reconstruction of the 5m wide Roman bridge, whose central span was 9m above the water so it shows that large sea going ships could have passed underneath it on their way to the docks. In relation to its Seljuk successor it was a veritable giants.
