Guests will be picked up from Kusadasi Hotels, Kusadasi Marina, Kusadasi Cruise Ship Port, or Selcuk town. The designated Ephesus tour guide will display a sign with the guest's name, facilitating easy identification for both the tour guide and the transfer service. The Ephesus tour is expected to last approximately 4 hours, concluding with a return to the original pickup locations, including Kusadasi Hotel, Kusadasi Marina, Kusadasi Cruise ship port, or Selcuk town.
The full-day Ephesus tour begins with a visit to the Virgin Mary's House, where the tour guide provides insights into the history of the site. Known as a pilgrimage for Christians, the house is where Virgin Mary spent her last years with St John until her Assumption. The Virgin Mary's House is regarded as a place of tremendous energy, allowing visitors to offer prayers and make wishes.
The tour then proceeds to the Ancient city of Ephesus Open Air Museum, featuring one of the most magnificent excavations globally, including the grand theater where Saint Paul preached. Optionally, guests can visit the Ephesus Museum (if the timing allows), housing significant artifacts from Ephesus, St. Jean Church (if the timing allows), and Artemision (if the timing allows).
Upon request, guests can be taken to local production centers that have survived for centuries, showcasing ancient crafts such as handmade woven carpets, leather clothing, and ceramics.
Upon completion of the tour, the Ephesus tour guide will return guests to their initial pickup points.
Please note that the Ephesus tours provided are private, including both a driver and a separate tour guide to accompany guests throughout the tour. Booking in advance offers the advantage of avoiding crowded conditions and ensuring a more personalized experience with ample time for questions and exploration.
