You shall be picked up from Istanbul central hotels in Istanbul. Your tour guide or one of our staff will meet you at lobby of the hotel, This Bosphorus tour will take approximately 7 - 8 hours and after will drive you back to your Istanbul hotel.
In this full day tour our first stop is Dolmabahce Palace, recent residence of Ottoman Sultans. Dolmabahce palace has a great meaning for Turkish people since the supreme leader Mustafa Kemal Ataturk had used the palace as a residence and spent his last days in this palace. The palace famous for it’s European antiquity, furniture and 4.5 tons chandelier. Then, we will visit to Bezmi Alem Mosque, built in 1855 after 2 years of construction. This Baroque and neo-classical style mosque is located on the coastline near to south corner of the Dolmabahce Palace and the Clock Tower (more information by your tour guide). After lunch, we will first drive by Golden Horn shores viewing the City Walls, dating back to the Byzantine Era. Then you will reach Eyup area, where you will take a short cable-car ride up to Pierre Loti Hill, where you can get one of the most magnificent views of Istanbul and Golden Horn. Pierre Loti Hill, is named after French author Pierre Loti (Louis Marie Julien Viaud) who fell in love with Istanbul at first sight, and frequented in the area a lot. After a short stop at the hill, you will get on the vehicle and drive to Eminonu, where you will get on the boat for a 2-hour Bosphorus Cruise which takes about 1.5 hours. During this excursion you will see the magnificent Dolmabahce Palace, Ciragan Palace, Maiden´s Tower, Bosphorus bridges, Rumeli and Anadolu fortresses and Ottoman Residences. End of the tour return to your hotel.
