You shall be picked up from the Patmos cruise ship port, your Patmos guide will hold up a sign with your name on it so you can easily find your allocated tour guide and transfer service for the day. This Patmos tour will take about 2 hours and after the tour, we will drive you back to Patmos cruise ship port.
Cave of Apocalypse, Windmills, Patmos landscape, Kampos, Grikos
We will start our tour from the port of Skala where we will drive halfway up the mountain to the cave of St John to visit the most important site of the island. Your sightseeing will then bring you to the windmills of Chora, once upon a time the landmark of all Aegean islands. Enjoy the view, take photos and from there we continue to the south part of the island and observe the highest point of the island and the small village of Gricou.
The drive will continue around the island to see its landscape of outstanding natural beauty comprised mostly of rocky hills, Zens of tongues of land reaching out into the sea, tranquil beaches, and many picturesque inlets before you arrive at the village of Kampos, located in the north part of the island. Here you will be welcomed with a refreshment and a traditional local sweet. Your tour ends in the port of Skala, the quaint and picturesque harbor of the island.
PS: The Patmos tours we provide are private tours which means they include a driver and a separate tour guide who speaks English - French - German - Swedish - Spanish - Italian - and Greek they will accompany you throughout the tour and they will be able to answer any questions or queries during your tour.
