DAY 1: ATHENS
Welcome to Athens! Upon arrival, meet and transfer to the hotel for check-in. Enjoy free time at your leisure.

DAY 2: ATHENS CITY TOUR (B)
This morning, our expert guide will help you explore the treasures of Athens during your morning sightseeing tour. Pass by the Panathenaic Stadium, the Temple of Olympian Zeus, Hadrian's Arch, the Parliament, the Memorial of the Unknown Soldier, the Academy, the University, the National Library, and Constitution Square (Syntagma). Your tour will be followed by a visit to the Acropolis, the eternal symbol of democracy, education, and inspiration. Your tour will end with a visit to the impressive Acropolis Museum (including entrance fees). Afternoon at leisure.

DAY 3: ATHENS (3 HRS) – DELPHI (4 HRS) KALAMBAKA (B/D)
After breakfast, our bus will pick you up for a special day tour in Delphi, which had the most famous oracle of ancient Greece and was regarded as the center of the world. On the slopes of Mount Parnassus, in a landscape of unparalleled beauty and majesty, lie the ruins of the Sanctuary of Apollo Pythius. You will be astonished by the Treasury of the Athenians, the Theatre, the Stadium, and the Museum with the famous statue of Antinoos and the unique bronze statue of the Charioteer dated from 475 B.C. and the famous athlete Aghias. Gaze out of your window as you cross the Thessalian plains, passing the pretty towns of Amphissa, Lamia, and Trikala, and then arrive at your Kalambaka hotel in the early evening. Enjoy dinner at your hotel.

DAY 4: METEORA (4.5 HRS) – ATHENS (B)
Savor breakfast in your hotel, and then travel to Meteora. The UNESCO World Heritage site is home to more than 20 rock monasteries, either perched precariously on top of Meteora’s towering sandstone cliffs or built into the cliffs themselves inside naturally formed caves. Impressive scenery, priceless historical and religious treasures suspended between earth and sky. On your way back to Athens, you will have the opportunity to stop in the coastal town of Thermopylae, near Lamia, and learn about Thermopylae’s historical battle between the Greek Spartans and Persians. Arrive in Athens early in the evening.

DAY 5: ATHENS (8 HRS) – SANTORINI (B)
Morning transfer to the port of Piraeus to take the ferry to the island of Santorini. Upon your arrival, you will be transferred to your hotel and then you will have the rest of the time to enjoy the gorgeous island.

DAY 6: SANTORINI (B)
Day at leisure to enjoy the unique views, the black sandy beaches as well as the most romantic sunset of the world. We suggest you enjoy an optional half-day cruise to the small volcanic islands of Nea Kameni and Palea Kameni found in the center of the famous caldera and the hot springs with the orangey water where you will have free time for swimming. Do not miss the opportunity to have a romantic dinner on the rim of the caldera with the most breathtaking view on the planet.

DAY 7: SANTORINI (2.5 HRS) CRETE – HERAKLION (B)
Morning at leisure. Transfer to the port to take the afternoon ferry to Crete (Heraklion). Upon arrival, you will be transferred to your hotel. Balance off the day at leisure.

DAY 8: CRETE – HERAKLION (B)
Free day to explore the biggest Greek island, famous for its brilliant civilization, glorious beaches, impressive mountain capes, fertile valleys, and steep gorges. Don't miss the opportunity to visit the Knossos Palace, the center of the Minoan Civilization.

DAY 9: CRETE - ATHENS (B)
Transfer to the airport to take your flight back to Athens. Transfer to your selected hotel and overnight.

DAY 10: ATHENS / AIRPORT
According to your flight departure time, you will be transferred to Athens airport to catch the flight back, carrying in your "luggage" the wonderful memories of Greek Attractions.

Meteora Dress Code. The monasteries have strict dress codes so to enter the monasteries of Meteora you have to adhere to the following rules:

Women will need to wear a long skirt, dress or sarong, it's not enough to keep the knees covered, so no trousers or shorts.
Men must wear long pants.
Sleeveless shirts are not allowed.
Please make sure to have appropriate clothing before visiting the monasteries.
