Often referred to as the "Naples of Greece" by the Venetians, Nauplion's charm will undoubtedly captivate you.
Day 1: Corinth Canal - Saronic Gulf - Mycenae - Tomb of Agamemnon - Nauplion: Begin your time-traveling journey with a coastal road trip to the Corinth Canal. After a short stop to capture the beauty, head to Mycenae, the Homeric City of Atreides. Uncover the Archaeological Site and the renowned Tomb of Agamemnon. Enjoy a traditional Greek lunch. Continue the journey to Nauplion, nestled at the foot of the Palamidi Fortress. The afternoon is yours to explore the town's treasures, from fortresses to historic churches and scenic beaches.
Day 2: Epidaurus Asclepion and Epidaurus Theater: Start your last day with a leisurely morning in Nauplion. Visit local museums like the Archaeological Museum and the National Gallery. By late morning, head towards Epidaurus, where the Grand Theatre, a masterpiece of ancient Greek architecture, awaits. With exceptional acoustics, it can hold 15,000 people. After marveling at Epidaurus, return to Athens around 7:00 pm, concluding your enriching Ancient Greek Tour.
