In the Ephesus and Sirince tour from Kusadasi or Selcuk, we will pass through verdant landscapes and arrive at the Ancient City of Ephesus to witness one of the most spectacular excavations in the world. You will see the Odeon, The Fountain of Trajan, the steam baths of Scholastika, the Temple of Hadrian, and the Grand Theater - believed to be the largest outdoor theater in the ancient world with a capacity of 24,000 seats, where Saint Paul preached. Of course, you'll also explore the impressive library of Ephesus adorned with columns and statues.
After Ephesus, we will drive to Sirince, a lovely village pronounced as she-RIN-jay. It is a charming Aegean village with just 600 inhabitants. Most of the houses in the village date from the 19th century or earlier, built at a time when Sirince was predominantly a Greek village. The village lies in a beautiful bowl of hills surrounded by peach orchards, vineyards, and olives. Villagers produce their own wine and olive oil, and as you wander around the cobbled streets, you will see wooden stalls filled with these items for sale. There will also be an arranged stop in one of the wine houses where you can try their homemade fruit wines.
After taking in the sights in Sirince, your tour guide will give you approximately one hour of free time to stroll at your leisure or relax and have some refreshments in the village. When the tour is finished, your Ephesus & Sirince Tour guide will return you to your pick-up point
