You will be picked up from central hotels, including Taksim, Sultanahmet, Beyazit, Fatih, and Besiktas areas. Your Istanbul tour guide or agency staff will meet you in the hotel lobby to commence your planned Istanbul City Tour, which is expected to last approximately 7 hours. After the tour, we will drive you back to your Istanbul hotel.
This guided walking tour explores the Old City, allowing you to visit the main attractions of Istanbul, the former capital of the Ottoman Empire until 1923. The itinerary includes iconic landmarks such as the Hagia Sophia, a magnificent Byzantine church transformed into a mosque; the Blue Mosque, renowned for its blue tiles and six minarets; and the Ancient Hippodrome, a historic square with an impressive granite obelisk.
Continuing the tour, we'll visit Topkapi Palace (closed on Tuesdays), once the residence of Ottoman Sultans and their harem. The tour concludes with a short drive to the exotic Grand Bazaar (closed on Sundays and Eid Holidays), the oldest and largest marketplace globally, offering a unique collection of handmade carpets, jewelry, leather, and souvenirs. The tour wraps up around 16:30 to 17:00, leaving you with free time to explore the Grand Bazaar. Finally, you'll be returned to your hotel.
