Our Izmir Sightseeing Tour begins with a short walk from Izmir port, starting at Kordonboyu. Renowned for its transformed coastline, Izmir’s famous Kordon is steeped in poetry and song. Kordonboyu, with its blue bay, green coast, and bustling port, offers a lively atmosphere. It's an ideal place to stroll, with numerous restaurants, bars, and cafes lining the strip. Republic Square marks the meeting point of Kordon and the city, featuring a splendid statue of the founder of the Turkish Republic, Ataturk—a popular spot for photos.
Continuing along Kordonboyu, we reach Konak Square, where the famous Clock Tower stands as the symbol of Izmir. The square encapsulates the city’s charm, from the late Ottoman clock tower to the bustling city bus terminal and the vibrant Izmir Bazaar with its diverse range of goods.
After a lunch break, we take a ferry to Karsiyaka, a district renowned for its beautiful bazaar, malls, and shopping opportunities. Another ferry ride takes us to Alsancak, where you'll have approximately one hour of free time to explore at your leisure or relax in Konak and Karsiyaka.
